The acclaimed Santa Monica Symphony, under its popular Music Director & Conductor Allen Robert Gross, brings classical and contemporary symphonic music into the lives of all ages and segments of the community with its free concerts, its open rehearsals for music students, its outreach activities in the schools, and the performances by its musicians at community events. Dr. Gross regularly presents works by emerging American composers of symphonic music. Now in its 67th season of admission free concerts, the Symphony been honored by the National Endowment for the Arts with five successive grants to bring Artistic Excellence to the community. School-age children are especially welcome and can meet the maestro after the concert.
